An independent medical assessment from an occupational health service regarding a worker’s fitness for work
Reasons for a referral can include, but are not limited to:
- Recurrent or emerging patterns of short-term absences
- Long term absence
- Accident or injury at work
- Health issue affecting performance or capability of the worker to do the role
- Medical Opinion on Disability Provision of the Equality Act 2010
